View or change your email and display name in Account settings. You can permanently delete your account there using your current password.
What deletion removes
Your login credentials, saved items, private conversations and personal author links are removed from the active service. Institution-owned school and program information remains available; another approved school staff member or our operator can maintain it.
If you cannot sign in
Reset your password or send a deletion request through Contact. Include the account email. Our operator verifies ownership before processing the request. Suspended members can use Contact too.
Copies and retention
Resolved inquiries and individual email records are retained for up to 90 days unless a verified deletion request requires earlier removal. Backups containing member data are kept under a 30-day operational retention policy. Operators handle backup and external mail copies and reapply deletions before restoring service. We do not describe suspended accounts as deleted accounts.
